Full Time, Permanent, 36 hours per week Downpatrick Campus

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Head of School the post holder will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to lecturers/courses in the relevant curriculum area.

Essential Criteria
  • Have completed a Level 3 or above apprenticeship in Carpentry & Joinery with certified documentation
  • Have a minimum of 3 years' post apprenticeship experience working in the Carpentry & Joinery industry
  • Have a minimum of 1 years' experience using woodworking machines in a workshop environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety in a workshop environment
  • Demonstrate effective organisational skills
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrate competence in the use of Microsoft Office package.
