The University of Chester is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Rowing Club Coach to support the development and success of its student rowing programme. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced coach to play a key role in enhancing the student experience through the delivery of high-quality, inclusive coaching sessions.

Working closely with student club officers and the Sport Development Team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering structured coaching sessions, supporting participants of all abilities, and fostering a positive and developmental club environment.

You will hold a minimum Level 1 coaching qualification in rowing and have experience working with young adults. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to motivate, engage and develop participants while promoting a safe, inclusive and enjoyable sporting environment. A Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport certificate is essential, with a First Aid qualification desirable.

• £25 per hour coaching rate (maximum £2,100 per annum).
• Coaching programme covering 21 weeks from October to May.
