Nursery - Elsie Inglis Salary- From £29,536 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience) 12 month Maternity cover position Location-Edinburgh. Subject to T&Cs The Role

• Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
• Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
• Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
• Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
• Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis

. What we're looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Scottish Curriculum frameworks
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carer.
