Job Title: Roofing Assessor / Tutor - Trainee OR Qualified Trainee or Qualified Assessor Opportunity

Location: West Midlands

Salary: up to 45k (depending on experience and qualifications)

Type: Full Time, Permanent We are pleased to offer this role as a Trainee or Qualified position. If you have solid roofing experience and are looking for a new career path, this is a great opportunity to train as an Assessor for Roofing Apprenticeships. Full training and support to gain the required teaching qualifications will be provided.

Duties

• Assess and support learners working towards full Apprenticeships in Roofing (level 2), delivering either: Waterproof and Membrane, Slating and Tiling or Sheeting and Cladding
• Deliver full training and support learners through their Functional Skills - Maths, English and ICT to level 2.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and completions.
• Support learners through the End Point Assessment Process.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.

Essential Criteria

• Must hold solid occupational competency within Roofing (specifically waterproof, membrane, slating and tiling or Sheeting and Cladding)
• Ideally hold (or willing to work towards) a recognised teaching/assessing qualification: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.

• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
