Salary: National Minimum Wage for Apprentices - £16,640 a year

Start your career in roofing with hands-on experience and professional training. Learn to work safely at height, prepare and install roofing materials, carry out repairs and develop practical skills on-the-job. Ideal for someone hardworking, reliable and keen to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career.

Assist experienced roofers with day-to-day roofing work
Learn to safely work at height and use access equipment
Prepare and handle roofing materials and tools
Measure, cut and fit roofing materials
Assist with roof repairs, maintenance and installations
Learn to install tiles, slates and other roofing materials
Keep the work area clean, safe and organised
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Develop practical skills and take on more responsibility as confidence grows
Attend training with Greenlight Training and work towards the apprenticeship qualification
