We are currently seeking a skilled and committed Roofer to join our growing team in North West England.

The Role
You will form one half of a two-person roofing team, working primarily on reactive maintenance contracts within the social housing sector. Your work will be key to delivering timely and professional roofing repairs across the local area. You'll be supported by our Service Delivery Manager and our Help Desk team, with real-time scheduling and reporting managed via our CRM system.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a wide range of roofing issues including pitched and flat roof systems.
Carry out works in accordance with NHF Schedule of Rates and client specifications.
Use software to receive, update and close jobs, including uploading photographs and job notes.
Liaise professionally with residents, clients and colleagues to ensure excellent customer experience.
Analyse operatives schedules and provide technical knowledge and support.
Be the first port of call for regional operatives.
Provide support to Management team in attending complex repairs and surveys.
Maintain a clean and safe work area in line with SSR Roofing's H&S procedures.
Conduct dynamic risk assessments on-site to ensure safety and awareness of ACMs.

Requirements

Proven experience as a roofer in reactive maintenance or social housing.
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Roofing (preferred).
Valid CSCS Card and full UK driving licence (essential).
PASMA certification (essential).
Comfortable using mobile job management systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
