We introduced Robotic Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) to the world, making 3D metal printing more flexible, faster, and cost-effective. With the M1 and MX Metal AM System, we empower businesses globally to produce their own 3D-printed metal parts in-house. As we expand, we're looking for talented engineers to help us deliver cutting-edge solutions to our customers worldwide.

Your Role

As a Robotic/Software Engineer, you will be developing and integrating MX3D's robotic 3D printer software. You will be in charge of designing, developing, and implementing improvements to our robotic 3D printers. You are part of the development SCRUM team. We work with ABB and KUKA robots.

Both robot brands are integrated with the MX3D monitoring/control system, an Industrial PC that monitors the print process.

Proficiency in KUKA KRL programming is required, or a strong interest to learn this language.

Responsibilities

-Creating and testing robotic code and integrations with our control system

-Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the MX3D monitoring/control system.

-Ensure the code and architecture are clean, simple, and bug-free

-Manage releases and ensure smooth deployments

-Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers

-Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.

-Optimize software for performance, scalability, and reliability in industrial environments.

-Develop and implement algorithms for robotic path planning, automation and monitoring & control

-Help the team solve robotic and kinematical challenges

What We're Looking For

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation or a related field (or equivalent experience)

-Hands-on experience operating, programming or commissioning industrial robots, preferably KUKA KRL and ABB rapid.

-Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

-Willingness to travel and go on abroad deployments as needed

-Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English
