Job Description

Duties and responsibilities- Operate robotic welding systems (Collaborative UR Robots, FANUC, ABB);
- Assemble metal parts using appropriate welding techniques;
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions;
- Perform visual inspections to verify weld quality;
- Identify and report quality defects and safety issues;
- Comply with all safety procedures and occupational health regulations;
- Perform welding operations on all robotic cells in accordance with detailed part drawings and manufacturing tolerances;
- Carry out basic robot maintenance (torch cleaning, inspections, accessory replacement);
- Report any mechanical or electrical issues to the supervisor;
- Participate in process improvement initiatives (reduction of downtime).
- Compressed schedule to take advantage of Friday afternoons off
- Up to 5 weeks of vacation per year, including 3 weeks of vacation upon being hired

- Knowledge of safety standards related to welding operations;
- Ability to detect and correct welding defects (performed by the robot);
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on production needs.
- DEP in Production Equipment Operation or equivalent experience;
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position;
- Overhead crane operator certification (asset).
