The Infrastructure Service of the City of Crissier is responsible for the maintenance, development, and management of municipal public spaces. It integrates ecological and sustainable management of infrastructures, closely linked to societal challenges. In this context, the City of Crissier is offering a position for a Mechanic in the Road Sector at 100% to ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of the vehicles, machines, and tools in the road sector. It also includes maintaining green spaces, sports fields, playgrounds, and the cemetery.Main missions:- Maintain the vehicles and machines of the road sector according to the manufacturers' specifications and within the agreed deadlines for the smooth operation of the service;- Perform and, if necessary, subcontract with the agreement of the road chief, the necessary repairs;- Communicate to the head of the Road Sector any vehicle issues and/or abnormalities;- Carry out safety checks of tools and machines a minimum of X times per year or during each breakdown;- Respect the seasonal schedule for restarting machines and tools;- Participate in winter road maintenance (salting and snow removal);- Participate in the implementation of;- Manage and order fuel for the municipal vehicle tank;- Manage the minimum stock of X spare parts, oil, and maintenance fluids;- Follow occupational safety standards (according to SUVA).Your profile:- Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as a heavy vehicle or agricultural machinery mechanic;- Minimum of 5 years of experience;- Knowledge of locksmithing;- Driving license;- Good sense of organization;- Flexibility and ability to prioritize.We offer:A varied and stimulating job, within a team that values sustainability, autonomy, and a working environment with salary and social conditions starting from May 1st or as agreed. jid4e78740aen jit0310aen jpiy26aen
