Salary: Up to £37,000 (DOE)

About the Role We are seeking a proactive and experienced Road Freight Forwarder to join our busy Manchester office. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic logistics team with huge room for progression as the company continues to grow.

You'll be responsible for managing road freight operations from start to finish, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring the smooth movement of goods across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day road freight import and export operations
• Arrange transport, collections, and deliveries with hauliers and partners
• Prepare and manage all relevant documentation and customs requirements
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers
• Build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and suppliers
• Resolve operational issues efficiently and professionally
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and industry regulations

What We're Looking For

• Experience in road freight forwarding or a similar logistics role
• Strong understanding of UK & European transport operations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and work under pressure
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• A motivated team player with a positive, solution focused attitude
