Cambridge Health Alliance has expanded its substance use disorder services with the opening of the Bridge Clinic at The Cambridge Hospital. As a dedicated low-barrier and harm reduction clinic, we provide treatment for patients needing immediate attention and those who could benefit from additional clinical services. We are now growing our team to support our expanded operating hours.
SummaryThe Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for providing patient care in accordance with established Nursing Standards of Care. The RN demonstrates initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to effectively manage patients by assuming full responsibility for the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of nursing care and directly reports to a designated nurse manager and/or clinical manager / off shift manager.
Qualifications- BSN preferred
- Current or conditional MA RN Licensure
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) for Healthcare Providers BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required
- Interest or experience in mental health, acute services, and/or substance use disorders preferred
- Portuguese, Spanish, or Haitian Creole-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply
- In addition, newly hired candidates are required to successfully complete a job specific physical agility test
