Risk reporting analyst

Hays Technology is partnering with a leading organisation within the financial services sector, in the recruitment of a Risk Reporting Analyst to support the production, analysis, and validation of risk reporting across a range of business and risk functions.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional with experience in risk, controls, reporting, or operational environments. You will work closely with key stakeholders to deliver accurate, high-quality reporting while supporting regulatory, audit, and business requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs risk reporting analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation, review, and analysation of risk reports across multiple risk disciplines.
• Support reporting activities relating to:
  • Risk limit monitoring and exception
  • Stress testing and scenario analysis
  • High-risk exposures
  • Reserve and risk portfolio reporting
• Producing regular and ad-hoc reports for senior management and regulatory stakeholders.
• Supporting audit reviews, regulatory enquiries, and ongoing control activities through data analysis and documentation.
• Investigating reporting discrepancies, data quality issues, and control exceptions.
• Assisting with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for reporting enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Finance, and Business teams to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Ensuring all activities are delivered in line with governance, risk, and compliance standards.

To be successful in this role you will be expected to possess the following skills/experience:

• 2-5 years' experience in:
  • Risk Management
  • Change Management
  • Financial Control
  • Audit
  • Operations
  • Related control functions
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Data analysis and reporting experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and with global cross-functional teams.

This role will require you to be in the Dublin office 3 days per week. Only candidates with the ability to attend the office will be considered.
