Job Description

Risk Modeler - Withholding Tax vacancy for a Zürich based client in the financial services sector.

Your tasks:

  • Validating models developed for compliance with US withholding tax regulations
  • Determining in-scope status of equity-linked instruments
  • Analyzing financial instruments with US underlying securities
  • Providing insights on withholding tax implications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for model implementation

Your experience/knowledge:

  • Experience in financial modelling and analysis
  • Strong understanding of US tax regulations, specifically section 871(m) of the Internal Revenue Code.
  • Mathematical modelling and product expertise for Equity derivatives (ie, Greeks) is required.
  • Knowledge of equity-linked instruments and their taxation
  • Relevant academic background in finance or related fields
  • Language skills: English
