About The Role

Sport England is seeking Risk and Assurance Manager with, to play a key role in strengthening the organisation's approach to risk management, assurance and control environment.

Your knowledge of risk and policy framework principles, will hold in good stead while you assess, track and manage risk and assurance practices across the organisation. You'll work with senior managers so will be comfortable providing advice and best practice to a wide audience.

IRM or ARMRM certification (or working towards certification) is advantageous but not a requirement for this role. We have established protocols and a risk management framework and internal control framework, so what we looking for, is someone who has experience of working in, or alongside, a risk management function and an interest in managing risk.

The role will be vital in ensuring Sport England complies with its legal and regulatory responsibilities and demonstrates effective governance, management and accountability.

This role will facilitate effective decision making, protect public funds and support the successful delivery of outcomes for our projects and investments and grant funding. If sounds interesting to you, we'd love to hear from you.
