Purpose of the Role Reporting into the UK Media Financial Controller, as Revenue Assurance Manager you'll play a key role in the specialised Revenue Assurance team and will be accountable for the integrity of client financial data and the linking of same to operational and financial systems for appropriate revenue recognition. This role is also accountable to ensure client contract assurance is conducted according to the service line compliance framework and UK&I policies.You'll work closely with the Commercial Finance/FP&A, Financial Control, Operational Finance and Client Services teams and effectively manage the day-to-day tasks and deliverables of the Revenue Assurance Analysts with a focus on utilisation, effectiveness, cross training and engagement. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Oversight: Lead, mentor, and review the Revenue Assurance team to ensure high quality output and ongoing development. Revenue Assurance & Contract Compliance: Oversee FSA maintenance, revenue recognition processes, and contract aligned client approvals while ensuring compliance with IFRS 15. Audit: Serve as the main contact for Retainer Fees and PRFs during audits, maintaining strong audit trails and supporting JSOX requirements. Month-End Reporting & Forecasting: Manage monthly revenue recognition and PRF schedules while working with Finance teams on forecasting and variance analysis. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Client Services, Finance, Bookings, and IT to ensure accurate invoicing and alignment between contracts and revenue. Process Improvement & Systems Enhancement: Improve workflows through automation, enhanced templates, and strengthened operating procedures to drive efficiency and team performance. Qualifications + Skills Professional Qualifications: Qualified accountant with experience in client accounting and assurance processes. Revenue Expertise: Strong capability in interpreting varied revenue streams and promoting understanding of IFRS 15 across the business. Communication & Influence: Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence collaborative outcomes. Managerial Experience: Demonstrated ability to develop and support finance professionals through coaching, skills development and structured performance guidance. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Automation, Word, and working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot. Workload & Delivery : Proven ability to operate effectively in a complex environment, managing multiple competing deadlines and adapting to ambiguity and change.
