Retail Supervisor - Part Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Walsall, West Midlands. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 24 hours work each week, generally including some weekend work.

Pay & Benefits

We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.61 and will guarantee a minimum of 24 hours work per week, giving at least £326 per week. Overtime may be available.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the manager as part of the management team and lead the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop a team of retail assistants.
• Manage operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• A people person who builds strong working relationships.
• Trustworthy and reliable, dependable as part of a small team.
• Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries, or enthusiasm to take the first steps in a retail management career.
• Completion of a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check, confirming no previous or unspent convictions.
