Retail Supervisor - Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Barrhead, East Renfrewshire. The position is permanent, 39 hours per week, working a variety of shifts over 5 days a week.

Hours: 39 hours across 5 days per week. Pay: £13.61 per hour. Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package and more.

Hourly pay rate: £13.61. Guaranteed minimum of 39 hours per week (approximately £530 per week). Overtime may be available.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• People person who builds strong working relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Trustworthy and reliable, dependable in a small team setting.
• Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is desirable but not mandatory.
