Job Description Store Manager - Galway

We are currently partnering with a well-established retail brand to recruit an experienced Store Manager for a busy Galway location. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong retail leader who is passionate about people development, customer experience, and driving team performance.

You will lead a team of approximately 5 staff, creating a positive, high performing store environment while delivering excellent standards across customer service and operations.

The Role

As Store Manager, you will take full ownership of the day to day running of the store, with a strong focus on people management, succession planning, and customer engagement. This role would suit an experienced Store Manager or a confident Assistant Manager ready to step up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5, ensuring high engagement and performance
  • Drive a customer first culture, delivering a consistently excellent in store experience
  • Manage day to day store operations, ensuring standards, procedures, and compliance are met
  • Identify and develop talent through effective succession planning and ongoing coaching
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and manage performance proactively
  • Lead by example on the shop floor, motivating the team and setting the tone
  • Work closely with senior management to achieve store objectives and KPIs
Experience & Background
  • Strong retail experience in a KPI environment as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager
  • Proven people management experience, including coaching and team development
  • A passion for customer service and delivering a positive customer journey
  • Experience working in a fast paced retail environment
  • Confident decision maker with the ability to take ownership of a store
