About the Role

Company Shop is looking for a Store Manager to join and lead our team at our Superstore in Middleton. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider store management team to lead and manage colleagues across the store, delivering a fantastic service to our members with customers at the heart of everything. The role will be responsible for driving sales through excellent merchandising and product availability, coaching colleagues to achieve agreed KPIs and targets, and identifying and driving improvements across the store as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and merchandising performance.• Coach and inspire a high performing team.• Manage store operations to meet business and financial targets.• Ensure brand integrity and excellent customer service.• Lead improvement initiatives across the store.• Work closely with the Regional Manager and report on sales and standards.

Who we are looking for

• Previous experience operating in a similar role.
• Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to understand the impact of decisions on performance.
• Ability to produce proactive plans that support business and team objectives.
• Proven leadership experience with drive and enthusiasm to deliver results and the ability to motivate and coach others.
• Hands on attitude, credibility, and trust.
• Strong planning, prioritising and organisation skills in line with store strategy.
• Food Safety - Level2 required, Level3 desirable.
• Capability to work under pressure and multitask across priorities.
• Experience in colleague management, including absence and conduct issues.
• Experience in colleague development, using performance reviews and people development plans.
• Fully flexible and open, honest, positive attitude.
• Strong desire to deliver results and be the best, ensuring brand integrity.

Hours of work

40 hours per week. The successful candidate will need to be fully flexible to work 5 out of 7 days, between 6am and 10pm, to support store operating hours.
