Retail Store Assistant - Penicuik

Shop Assistant - Permanent, part time (15 hours per week). Pay: £12.71 per hour plus benefits. Reports to: Shop manager. Closing date: 28th July :55.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and supporter service.
• Work as an integral part of the shop team to achieve ambitious sales and fundraising targets.
• Assist with maintaining shop standards, including visual presentation, safeguarding compliance and health and safety.
• Create relationships with the local community and Cancer ResearchUK colleagues.
• Support fundraising events for the store to reach fundraising targets.
• Take keyholder responsibility as required (training provided).
• Perform manual handling and physical activity as part of day to day duties.

Qualifications & Skills

• Understanding of what makes great customer service.
• Experience working in a busy customer service environment.
• Ability to manage your own workload and work independently when required.
• Strong team working skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
