Retail Store Assistant

Pay: £12.71 per hour plus benefits. Part time, 12 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and supporter service.
• Collaborate with the shop team to achieve sales and fundraising targets.
• Maintain shop standards, including visual presentation, safeguarding compliance and health & safety.
• Build relationships with local communities and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
• Support fundraising events to reach fundraising targets.
• Take keyholder responsibility as required (training provided).
• Perform manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Understanding of what makes great customer service.
• Experience working in a busy customer service environment.
• Ability to manage one's own workload and work independently when required.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work on a rota basis, while balancing life outside of work.
