Retail Merchandiser

We're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in the Tesco Beverley HU17 9DB area. You'll be an integral part of a field based retail merchandising team, working primarily within The Entertainer concession within Tesco. There may be opportunities to work across other categories including Books and Entertainment, and Health and Beauty.

You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well stocked.

About the role:

• This role will primarily be based within Tesco Beverley.
• Confirmed working hours: 6.5 per week.
• Schedule: Wednesday 09 30; Friday 15 30; Saturday 15 30. Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed.

How you'll deliver excellence

• Entertainer brand knowledge - Know the Entertainer brand and products inside and out, and share that knowledge with your team.
• Compliance and Standards - Adhere to merchandising standards, guidelines, store policies, procedures and health and safety guidance; follow and implement planograms where provided.
• Product placement and replenishment - Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and POS setup - Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts and special offers.
• Strong communication and relationship building - Build and maintain good working relationships with in store colleagues, department and store managers; provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams via the feedback application.

• Comfortable with some manual handling - move and arrange products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.
• Willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (you'll be paid extra to do so).
• Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car is a bonus.
