Retail Media & Customer Growth Lead

About the role

The Retail Media & Customer Growth Lead will define and lead the GB customer growth strategy across Retail Media, CRM, Customer Data, Audience Planning and Personalisation. The role is accountable for building a market-leading capability that connects consumer, shopper and retailer data to create highly targeted, measurable and personalised customer experiences that drive category growth, market share gains and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the GB Retail Media vision, strategy and roadmap across priority retail customers.
• Build a centre of excellence in Retail Media, CRM, audience planning and personalisation.
• Develop strategic retailer media partnerships leveraging first-party customer data.
• Lead CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies to improve acquisition, retention and loyalty.
• Own audience strategy, segmentation and data-led targeting across brands and categories.
• Champion personalisation frameworks across media, ecommerce and customer activation.
• Establish closed-loop measurement, attribution and ROI frameworks.
• Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Category, Ecommerce and Analytics teams.
• Lead agencies and external partners to deliver innovative and measurable programmes.
• Develop and inspire a high-performing customer growth team.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Significant experience in Retail Media, CRM, digital marketing or customer growth leadership roles.
• Deep understanding of retailer first-party data ecosystems and audience activation.
• Proven experience building targeting and personalisation strategies.
• Strong commercial acumen and budget management experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, Retail or Ecommerce experience preferred.
