Our business primarily focuses on food & grocery, and uniquely, we source & process most of the fresh food we sell through our own manufacturing facilities.

We're recruiting high-performing Retail Managers to help our business continue to grow and succeed. If you are based in Manchester or surrounding areas, have management experience in a retail environment, and are eager to explore your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

Ensuring our stores are fully stocked is crucial to providing a fantastic customer experience, which is why this role is vital to our success. The Trading Manager's responsibility is to provide optimal availability and standards across all departments, ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations.
Reporting into the Store Manager, you will also:

  • Lead the team to achieve the highest standards and ensure the best shopping experience for every customer
  • Plan and organise current promotions or in-store events
  • Listen to and respond to customer feedback, reacting accordingly
  • Ensure market-leading product availability across the store
  • Collaborate with other managers to foster a supportive and performance-driven environment
  • Manage team routines, including scheduling, absence, performance, and talent development
  • Deliver training to empower the team to perform confidently in their roles
  • Motivate colleagues to work confidently across various departments
  • Identify and develop talent within the department
  • Build effective relationships with other operational departments
  • Lead colleagues to achieve outstanding performance against all relevant targets
  • Take a leadership role within the store
  • Plan resources thoroughly to meet store needs
