Salary and Working Conditions

Retail Driver Salary: £14.29 inclusive of holiday pay (£12.75 per hour + £1.54 holiday pay). Location: Swansea. 8-10 hour stock count shifts plus your driving time paid plus bonus. Access to wages available from 3 days after shift completion. Immediate start.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Retail Team Driver to add to our already successful team. The role requires overseeing the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region. Work is carried out at different Retail customer sites and travel varies on a shift by shift basis. You must follow the correct processes when notifying your count team of pick up points and timings for each shift, escalating any vehicle issues in a timely and efficient manner, and completing a team attendance sheet detailing the stock counters expected on the bus, who attended, and the arrival time of the bus on site.

Responsibilities

• Transport a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within the region.
• Notify the count team of pick up points and timings for each shift.
• Escalate any vehicle issues promptly and efficiently.
• Complete a team attendance sheet with expected counters, attendance, and arrival time.
• Ensure stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner while on site.
• Stand for prolonged periods of time and use access equipment to reach high stock if required.

Requirements

• Full Driving Licence.
• Can work unsociable hours, early mornings or night shifts.
• Unable to hire anyone under the age of 21 years.
• Can do attitude and ability to work long shifts when required on large counts.
• Quick learner. Experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
