Retail Cleaner

Overview

Arcus is recruiting a part-time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Chesterstore on a permanent basis. 18 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £12.71. Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and Arcus offers various shift patterns with 5- and 6-day working options. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 05:00 - 09:00
• Monday: Day Off
• Tuesday: Day Off
• Wednesday: 04:30 - 08:00
• Thursday: 04:30 - 08:00
• Friday: 04:30 - 08:00
• Saturday: 04:30 - 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery as required.
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• Occasionally clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies inside the store.
• Work outside at times to keep trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.

What you will need

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on-the-job training will be supplied.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
• You will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App, which is a condition of employment.
