Retail Cleaner

Overview

Arcus is recruiting a part-time In Store Cleaner based at Sainsbury's Heaton Newcastle store on a permanent basis. 16 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71. Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and Arcus offers various shift patterns with 5- and 6-day working options. Current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Monday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Tuesday: Day off
• Wednesday: Day off
• Thursday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Friday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Saturday: 04:00 to 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean
• Occasionally clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies
• Occasionally work outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

What will you need?

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on-the-job training will be supplied
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
• Please note you will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App; this is a condition of employment
