Job Overview

We are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Braehead store on a permanent basis. 21 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 05:00 to 09:00
• Monday: 05:00 to 10:00
• Tuesday: Day off
• Wednesday: Day off
• Thursday: 05:00 to 09:00
• Friday: 05:00 to 09:00
• Saturday: 05:00 to 09:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
• You will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
