Retail Business Analyst (6 month contract, outside IR35)

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst with Retail experience to join a project within the luxury fashion industry. The role involves working across a complex system landscape to understand, document, and communicate upstream and downstream impacts, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to delivery timelines.

Location: Onsite in central London ( 3 days a week).

1. Track and manage interdependencies across systems and processes within the broader programme landscape.
2. Identify and evaluate risks and potential failure points within interconnected environments.
3. Collaborate with technical teams to understand system integrations, data pathways, and operational effects.
4. Escalate emerging issues promptly, providing thorough analysis and clear summaries of potential impacts to stakeholders.
5. Work with programme leads and delivery teams to anticipate risks and develop resolution strategies.
6. Create and maintain visual maps, dashboards, and impact reports to support governance.
7. Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership, translating complex technical data into actionable insights.

• Solid technical knowledge of system architectures, integration points, and data flow dynamics.
• Experience in mapping system dependencies, impact assessments, and risk identification across systems.
• Proven success in business analysis and/or project delivery within large-scale programmes.
• High data literacy, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear insights.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to escalate critical issues effectively.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
