Retail Assistant (East) at Jersey Hospice Care

Job Overview

Jersey Hospice Care is looking for a Retail Assistant (East) to join our Retail Department on a permanent, full-time or part-time basis.

Responsibilities

The postholder will work with colleagues and volunteers to assist with the operation of Jersey Hospice Care's retail fundraising shops, greet customers, respond to customer queries, and assist shoppers in purchasing goods.

Other duties include:

• Receiving donations
• Replenishment of stock
• Maintaining the shop floor in line with shop standards
• Delivery of other retail activities as assigned by the Line Manager

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have an interest in customer service within a retail environment, retail experience, a basic understanding of visual merchandising techniques and experience of operating a till and cash handling disciplines.
