Job Description

Allegis Global Solutions is recruiting for a contract position and the assignment will be at Warner Bros. Discovery

  • Harry Potter store Platform 9¾ at King's Cross Station
  • Retail Assistant
  • 12 Weeks Contract Contract
  • Start Date - 23rd June 2025
  • 40 hours per week - 5 days a week across Monday-Sunday via monthly rota
  • Normal hours of work are between 7am and 10:30pm
  • £13.10ph via PAYE

Harry Potter Shop King's Cross is the official London destination for best-in-class Wizarding World merchandise.

At just over 2000sqft, the small footprint of Harry Potter Shop King's Cross plays a massive part in the success of the Worldwide Tours & Retail business. Sitting alongside world-class attractions and retail experiences including Warner Bros Studio Tour London, Warner Bros Studio Tour Tokyo, and Flagship stores in New York and Chicago, Harry Potter Shop King's Cross boasts unparalleled brand knowledge and authenticity that immerses our customers in the magic of Harry Potter.

Situated at Platform 9 ¾, King's Cross Station, our team delivers extraordinary customer service and self-developed product as unique as our location. Through a focus on combining a magical experience with retail excellence, our ultimate goal is to ensure each customer leaves with the perfect souvenir or gift, and a lasting memory.

Job Responsibilities

  • Help exceed customer expectations by understanding and demonstrating exceptional service on the sales floor and till points.

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Previous retail experience or experience working with the public (if a college leaver, work experience is desirable)

  • Ability to use own initiative.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for, as well as excellent knowledge of, the Harry Potter brand.

Terms & Conditions

Contracted to 40 hours per week. You will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays as part of this working pattern. Weekend work includes both Saturday and Sunday. Your normal hours of work are between 7am and 10:30pm.

This role includes working on tills, interacting with customers, replenishing our shelves, and working at the photo opportunity on the station concourse. Retail Assistants will need to work across all these functions at different times.
