Job Description

As a Retail Assistant, you'll help keep the store running smoothly by ensuring shelves are stocked, displays look great, and customers receive friendly, helpful service throughout their visit.

You'll work in all areas including but not limited too - Grocery, Produce and Warehouse

Looking for multiple positions ranging from 10hrs - 20hrs across 3 positions. Must be flexible with working across multiple departments. Candidates must be able to work between the hours of 8am and 8pm and available to work a weekend day.

Your key priorities and duties will be;

Greeting and welcoming guests in a warm and professional manner

Processing payments using the till system, handling both cash and card transactions

Guiding and assisting visitors in the shop and across the premises when necessary

Replenishing stock and keeping shelves well organised and tidy

Ensuring date and quality checks are carried out regularly

Housekeeping- making sure workstations are clean and presentable - tills, shelves etc

Dealing with customer complaints in a professional manner, directing to a manager/team leader if needed

Making sure policies and procedures relating to process, product and people are followed at all times.

Handling deliveries, booking in and contacting suppliers

Providing support in other areas of the business, as required by the management team

Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail would be advantageous but not essential

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

A passion for quality food and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

The ability to work excellently as part of a team with your colleagues.
