Restructuring Manager - London- Market Leading Restructuring Practice

As a Manager, you'll deliver a diverse mix of restructuring advisory and insolvency engagements, supporting businesses, lenders, investors and stakeholders through financial stress, underperformance and complex change. The London Restructuring practice works across mid market and large, complex mandates, advising clients on turnaround strategies, contingency planning, options analysis, cash and liquidity reviews, and formal insolvency processes. The team includes specialists in Complex & International Insolvencies, National Markets, Financial Restructuring, Corporate Simplification and contentious matters, providing end to end support to maximise value and navigate challenging situations.

• Lead a broad portfolio of restructuring advisory and insolvency engagements for corporates, lenders, investors and other stakeholders.
• Manage engagements from scoping to completion, ensuring high quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Analyse financial and operational performance, cash flow, funding needs and strategic options to support restructuring recommendations.
• Develop practical, commercially focused solutions and work closely with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, legal advisers, lenders and other stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact.
• Coach and develop junior team members, reviewing work and supporting technical and professional growth.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and support business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across restructuring and wider advisory service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of restructuring and insolvency legislation, market trends and best practice.

• Strong academic background with experience in restructuring, insolvency, turnaround, audit, transaction services, corporate finance or related advisory work.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPI or JIEB) or working towards one.
• Proven experience managing restructuring or insolvency engagements, with the ability to interpret financial and commercial information and produce clear client reports.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and wider Microsoft Office. Experience in financial modelling or cash flow forecasting is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
• Experience leading teams, managing competing priorities and delivering high quality work under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop junior colleagues.
• Proactive, organised and detail focused, with a collaborative working style.
