The team has a national reach working with clients throughout the country as well as those in the Yorkshire region. Key clients include national advisory firms including Interpath, BTG, A&M and BDO.The team in Sheffield is led by Partner, Oliver Jackson. Oliver's recent work includes advising on high profile restructurings, trading/pre-pack administrations and complex corporate insolvency matters. He is listed as a Recommended Leading Partner in The Legal 500 (2026 edition) and a Leading Individual in Chambers and Partners (2026 edition). About the role We are seeking a Restructuring & Insolvency Associate (ideally in the range of 1 to 4 years PQE) to join our friendly and dynamic team based in our impressive and modern Sheffield office in the heart of Sheffield's business centre. The team works with the wider national restructuring practice on complex restructuring and non-contentious corporate insolvency mandates.The nature of the work is fast paced, and our clients' interests are paramount so the applicant should possess and demonstrate an enthusiasm, energy and passion for this area of practice and have exceptionally strong communication skills and work well in a team. Applicants should have had exposure to restructuring and non-contentious insolvency work either during their training or after qualification, including insolvency advisory work, distressed business and asset sales and finance and security matters.
