Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Supervisor to join our front of house team at Ballymaloe House Hotel.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering the warm hospitality and exceptional dining experiences for which Ballymaloe House is renowned. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and wider team, you will help oversee the day to day operation of the restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of service, presentation, and guest care.
Responsibilities:Guest Experience:
Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.
Respond to guest enquiries, feedback, and requests with professionalism and efficiency.
Support the team in maintaining Ballymaloe House's welcoming and attentive service standards.
Assist with the smooth day to day running of the restaurant, including reservations and service coordination.
Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
Support and motivate team members throughout service.
Quality & Standards:
Maintain the highest standards of food and beverage presentation and service.
Ensure the restaurant is clean, organised, and well presented.
Monitor service standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of the guest experience.
Sustainability:
Support Ballymaloe House's commitment to sustainability by promoting environmentally responsible practices throughout restaurant operations.
Work closely with colleagues across all departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
Contribute positively to the culture and success of Ballymaloe House Hotel.
Requirements:Previous experience in a Restaurant Supervisor role or a similar position.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A positive, professional, and proactive approach to work.
An appreciation of sustainability and environmentally conscious practice.
The ideal candidate will be a fluent English speaker. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage. Excellent personal presentation and grooming is essential. The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Ireland. Candidates must already hold valid permission to work in Ireland. We are not able to offer employment permit sponsorship.
This role requires strong multitasking abilities, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
