Restaurant Receptionist

Miko Mei Fair is seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and professional welcome. Your role will be essential in creating a memorable dining experience from the moment guests walk through our doors.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated
• Efficiently manage reservations using OpenTable booking systems, ensuring a smooth and organised flow of guests
• Handle incoming calls and emails promptly, addressing customer inquiries and special requests effectively
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to accommodate guest preferences and special occasions, ensuring seamless service
• Support the floor team during service by offering water, assisting with table maintenance, and helping to create a smooth guest experience
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables when needed, maintaining the overall presentation of the restaurant
• Learn and maintain strong knowledge of the menu to confidently guide and advise guests
• Resolve any guest issues or complaints with poise and professionalism, always striving to exceed expectations

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a receptionist in a high end restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Proficiency in using OpenTable and Seven Rooms booking systems is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating unforgettable guest experiences.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast paced environment.
• Professional appearance and manner, reflecting the upscale nature of our Restaurant.
