Job Description

Gaucho is looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team! The successful candidate will be fully accountable for the restaurant's guest experience, finance, sales growth, legal compliance, and team development both FOH and BOH. The Restaurant Manager works closely with senior management to ensure smooth and successful operations in terms of finance, product, and people. They will take charge of the controllable lines of the P&L as delegated and deliver the budget (including bar stock, etc.).

Key Responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager
  1. Work with the General Manager to execute plans to surpass the budget and drive top-line sales.
  2. Oversee team objectives and development plans, executing the succession plan.
  3. Promote the Gaucho culture, inspiring, guiding, and educating junior staff.
  4. Ensure the team is fully trained regarding compliance and achieve above 95% on shield and food audits.
  5. Support the General Manager with local initiatives and advertising.
  6. Enforce brand standards regarding Revinate and mystery diner programs.
Requirements for Gaucho Restaurant Manager
  1. Excellent communicator and inspirational leader.
  2. Experience managing a team.
  3. In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry.
  4. WSET Level 2 desirable.
