H&H Group plc is a group of companies based in Carlisle. We operate in Auctioneering, Property and Insurance. We are looking for a Restaurant Assistant to join our busy catering team.

The café is based in the auction mart building, Borderway Rosehill, Carlisle and serves both H&H Group employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and serve food and drinks to customers.
• Collect payments from customers.
• Clear tables and fill service areas with condiments, napkins and other supplies as required.
• Assist with the preparation of hot and cold meals in accordance with pre set menus as and when required.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Flexible and self motivated.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure while remaining calm and polite in all circumstances.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations relating to a catering establishment.

Work Conditions

The role is offered on a zero hours basis and offers flexibility in hours, including weekends and early evenings to suit lifestyle. A competitive rate of pay will be made available.
