This individual will promote a culture of safe and transparent AI and advise senior leadership on responsible AI risks. Job Description JOB TITLE: Responsible AI Framework Specialist SALARY: £81,999 - £91,999 LOCATION(S): London HOURS: Full time WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in the above office location About this opportunity At this exciting time when Lloyds Banking Group is starting to adopt AI at scale, we are seeking a thought leader in responsible AI to join our AI Centre of Excellence in the Chief Data and Analytics Office! The position will be instrumental in setting the benchmark for how the financial institution coordinates, implements, and applies AI technologies, staying up-to-date on ethical AI approaches!You will be responsible for managing the relationship with the group's change frameworks (Your Change, Platform Change Framework), 2nd line risk (including both Model Risk Office and IPI Risk) and supporting the adoption of the AI Assurance Framework and AI Journey throughout the Group. The role is essential to ensuring the Group operates with integrity, transparency, and in accordance with regulatory and societal expectations. In this hands-on role, you'll Provide expertise on emerging responsible AI topics like Agentic AI governance and the governance of low code AI platforms. Demonstrate leadership on AI governance and AI ethics, informing Lloyds Banking Group's standard of responsible AI adoption. Find opportunities and offer assistance to integrate outstanding responsible AI methods into governance and AI development workflows, collaborating closely with both the Business and 2nd Line. Accelerate the responsible development and deployment of key AI use cases, including AI agents. Run AI Assurance working groups, helping to evolve the Group's AI Assurance Framework and AI risk management standards.If you think all banks are the same, you'd be wrong. What you'll need Experience of effectively embedding AI ethics considerations in existing governance approaches in a complex organisational context. Experience in Responsible AI or AI ethics, including directly engaging with AI product teams. Expertise in the latest agentic AI risks and how they can best be controlled. Extensive knowledge of emerging global AI regulatory standards and frameworks. Stellar problem-solving and risk identification/mitigation skills in business contexts. Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence senior partners and course correct initiatives towards strategic outcomes. Experience managing the ethical implementation of enterprise productivity tools like M365 Co-Pilot.
