Location: Sheaf Valley, Sheffield - hybrid working - 3 days onsite
Contract Length: 6 months

Up to £250 pd inside IR35 via umbrella

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a knack for optimising resource allocation? Our client is seeking a Resource Allocator to join their dynamic team in Sheaf Valley, Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient distribution of work for provision and repair tasks to a multiskilled workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Optimise Resource Allocation: Monitor and manage field allocation systems to ensure effective deployment of resources from day -5 to on the day.
Collaborate with Engineers: Work closely with field engineers to ensure the best customer fit and effective communication regarding task assignments.
Manage Escalations: Handle on-the-day customer escalations and expedites through timely and professional written and verbal communication.
Identify Risks: Use appropriate tools and systems to identify risks and issues with the resource allocation profile, flagging concerns to the relevant control and/or Area Engineering manager.
Incident Management: Collaborate with relevant departments to manage incidents in your assigned area, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Maximise Efficiency: Deploy field resources effectively to ensure maximum utilisation and efficiency while adhering to agreed lead times.
Process Improvement: Seek to continually improve processes and ways of working for better controls in resource allocation.
Task Enablement: Manage task enablement for provision and repair, building tasks manually when automation is not available (eg, Cloud Voice).

Who You Are:

You possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
You have excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience in resource allocation or a similar role is highly desirable.
