About the role

AsResort Safety Shift Manager you will carry out tasks on shift toensure that the allocation of team is complete to ensure themaximum positive impact on guest experience in our venues, buildand develop a positive relationship with theguests.
You willsupport the team members during the shift to ensure that theirworkload is manageable, giving support when necessary and feedingback to Resort Safety Managers the areas of improvement, reviewingguest feedback supplied to them to understand areas in which ourguests would valueimprovement.
You willcarry out individual team member appraisals and coach and supportthe team during tasks to ensure we have a highly trained andfulfilled team. Your role ensures compliance with relevantlegislation, company Fire, SIA, Licensing and health & safetypolicies within your area of responsibility and help others tochallenge themselves to innovate in any areas that will help theresults of the business.
You will also driveteam selection, recruitment, and retention with an emphasis onwellbeing. Aswith all roles at Butlin's, no day will be the same and you willneed to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuringthat our guest experience is always your number onepriority. Thisrole will predominantly be night working (with occasional daytimeworking to meet business needs - such as training, recruitmentetc.).
Thisrole covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility isveryimportant.
Aswith all roles at Butlin's, no day will be the same and you willneed to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuringthat our guest experience is always your number onepriority.
AboutYou
We are looking for anexperienced leader from within a security or safety environmentthat can support the team to deliver fantastic service. Putting theguests first in everything you do, you will have experience intraining and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment todeliver an excellence experience.

Youshould have previous experience in leading teams within a busysecurity or safety environment where a balance of quality andsafety is important.

You should beconfident to direct and respond in any situation whilst deliveringconsistent brandstandards.
The ability tolead, motivate and engage your team, even at periods of high demandis important, as well as being able to manage multiple prioritiesand adapt quickly to changingrequirements.
Withstrong leadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring yourteam to deliver amazing results for our teams and guests everyday.

The successful candidate willhold an SIA (Door Supervision) license, Level 2 Door SupervisionQualification, First Aid Qualification and should ideally have adriving license (or willing to obtain one within an agreedtimeframe).
