Residential Site Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join a prestigious residential development team in Cork. As part of this dynamic role, you will oversee landmark residential projects, ensuring all aspects of construction meet high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Liaise with site management to ensure adherence to project plans and schedules by all employees and subcontractors.

• Translate general work requirements into prioritized plans for crews and subcontractors.

• Regularly assess project progress to ensure timelines are met and report progress to Project Managers.

• Manage costs in collaboration with Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers.

• Maintain compliance with ISO standards and complete all necessary paperwork.

• Ensure operations comply with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

• Oversee work to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards.

• Address and resolve issues or challenges as they arise.

• Schedule site deliveries for optimal operations and timely project completion.

• Maintain comprehensive site logs and reports.

• Safely store and manage site equipment.

• Uphold workplace safety standards and ensure a well maintained site appearance.

• Perform any other duties as required for the role.

Qualifications / Certifications

• Hold all relevant certifications and authorizations required by industry standards and regulations.

• Willingness to undergo additional training as required by law or company policy.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in site management within residential construction projects.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

• Knowledge of ISO standards and construction regulations.
