Residential Property Solicitor

The Role

As a Residential Property Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. Typical responsibilities will include:

• Handling all aspects of residential property transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, new build transactions, and transfers of equity.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and other legal documentation.
• Carrying out property searches and title checks, and reporting on findings to clients.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth and timely progress of transactions.
• Providing clear, client-focused advice and maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and firm procedures.

About You

• A qualified solicitor with experience in residential conveyancing.
• Strong technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing processes.
• Excellent organisational skills, able to manage a busy caseload effectively.
• Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• A team player with the ability to work independently when required.
