Residential Property Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer-Northampton

-Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm (37.5 hours per week)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to lead a team based in Northampton.
The role will involve handling a caseload of a variety of residential property matters including sales and purchases for both freehold and leasehold as well as landlord and tenant and part exchanges.

KEY SKILLS:

Sound Residential Property experience with a recognised Residential practice including a good knowledge of the CQS scheme.
Ability to manage own caseload and manage a collaborative team.
Good drafting and proof-reading skills.
Intermediate to advanced IT and online systems ability (Microsoft Office, legal industry specific document management systems, online portals/datarooms etc.)
Commercial, practical and financial awareness.
Confidence and ability to communicate at senior levels.
Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills with a strong ability to develop contacts for the team and the firm.
Able to work collaboratively and fit into a friendly but busy team.
Good organisational ability.
Ability to work to deadlines and under the pressure that comes with residential conveyancing work.
