Residential Care Worker

ARCS are currently recruiting for Full Time, Part Time & Relief Residential Care Workers for their Autism and Disabilities centre's based in Clogheen, Newcastle & Bansha, Co. Tipperary.

Who we are -

As a Residential Care Worker and working as part of a team you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the residential centre and work in close collaboration with the Deputy Team Leader and Team Lead in creating and maintaining a warm, accepting and secure environment for the young people in your care and will play a key role in the delivery of the highest standard of therapeutic residential services.

What we can offer you:

  • Attractive starting salary package for our Full time Social Care Workers €39,567 - €42,895 per annum for RCW (depending on experience)

  • inclusive of sleeping time and premiums.

  • Combination of shifts patterns i.e. sleepover shifts, day shifts, Live waking night shifts.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Level 7 qualification or degree in the care sector some relevant degrees include:

  • Social Care

  • Social work

  • Psychology

  • Child & Adult Psychotherapy

  • Youth & Community

  • Teaching

  • Nursing

  • Social Science

  • Counselling

  • Addiction Studies

  • Early Childhood studies

  • Disability studies

  • A full driving license

  • Experience of working with vulnerable young people and youth and families in the community or residential setting
