Residential & Respite Manager

AA Euro Healthcare are delighted to be seeking a Residential & Respite Manager for our well established client who provide support in multiple intellectual disability services. They are based in the Longford area.

The Residential and Respite Manager will be a member of the Senior Management Team and will provide leadership and oversight of residential and respite services. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care and support across the Services and will provide professional and clinical leadership within their areas of responsibility.

• Minimum of a Level 8 Degree in Nursing (RNID, RPN, or RGN with relevant disability services experience), or an equivalent Level 8 or higher qualification in Health or Social Care. A Level 9 (Masters) qualification is desirable.
• An appropriate management qualification in health or social care - QQI Level 6.
• Candidates must demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities, together with the clinical, managerial and administrative competence required to effectively carry out the role.
• Minimum of 5 years management experience in a similar setting.
• Have wide social care experience with proven leadership qualities.
• Supporting individuals with complex needs.
• Successful record of delivering major change programmes.
• Financial and budget management experience.
• A up-to-date, Irish Driving License.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
