Job Description

The Bradford No Second Night Out project supports new and entrenched rough sleepers by providing a range of accommodation, outreach, assessment, and advice, and by coordinating the delivery of cold weather provision for rough sleepers in Bradford.

Responsibilities
  • Work with residents to establish their hobbies and areas of interest.
  • Develop and implement activities that are culturally and sensitively appropriate.
  • Encourage and motivate residents to take part in activities.
  • Ensure some activities involve social inclusion.
  • Share any concerns about residents with a staff member.
  • Respect peoples' differences.
  • Work within agreed professional boundaries at all times and in line with Waythrough policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Good IT skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to keep track of multiple tasks and report back on progress.
  • Non judgmental towards people with lived experience.
  • Confident to contact people by email or phone.
  • Good time keeping.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, on own initiative and to instruction.
  • Understanding of Waythrough (information available on the website).
  • A genuine interest in being part of the mission and vision of Waythrough.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries, adhere to Waythrough policies and media guidelines, engage in supervision, and complete relevant training.
