Reservations Agent Responsibilities:
- Take bookings for all bedrooms, as per the Carton House standards.
- Ensure bookings are managed to maximise sales, occupancy and revenue.
- Upsell all hotel facilities at every opportunity.
- Accurately input all guests requests into the hotel booking system.
- Assist the client with any special requests.
- Ensure all correspondence is answered, recorded and filed accurately.
- Identify all sales opportunities and effectively convert into bookings.
- Consult with the Reservations Manager/Director of Revenue in respect of group and agency bookings.
Key Requirements:
- Previous Reservations experience withina 4/5 property.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, Bank Holidays, early shifts and evening shifts.
- Working knowledge of Opera.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Results driven with a strong personality and the natural ability to build rapport with people.
- Confident in communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally.
