Researcher - Multilateral Section (m/f/x)

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vienna is seeking a Researcher to join the Multilateral Section.

1. Opening Date: 13 July 2026

2. Closing Date: 2 August 2026

3. Work Hours: Full-time (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), Monday to Friday

4. Expected Start date: September 2026

• Conduct research on international organizations and global issues
• Draft, edit, proofread, and translate official documents
• Provide support, including note-taking during meetings of international organizations, press conferences and other public events
• Substitute other staff when requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by the employer

• Master's degree in international politics or international organizations (or related fields)
• Bachelor's degree with minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar or related position, or

Candidates must meet at least one of the above qualifications.

• Austrian nationals, foreign nationals who are permanent or long-term residents, or those considered residents of Austria under equivalent status

Skills

• Excellent command of English (native proficiency), including the ability to write and draft reports
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask

• The target basic salary for this position is approximately 2,800 euros per month (depending on qualifications and experience)
• Additional benefits, including an annual bonus, social security, health insurance, etc., will be confirmed upon job offer
