Research Fellow (or Lead Scientist) - Senior Business Development Scientist Centre for Applied Biosciences Research Technology Gateway

Applications are now invited for a Senior Business Development Scientist to work at TUS, Limerick as part of a multidisciplinary team undertaking industrial collaborative research projects. You will work as part of a team involved in research activities in TUS and MTU (Munster Technological University) as part of this role. This is a senior role and you will manage projects and lead research that will contribute to industry's competitive advantage through new product development or product enhancement. Together with the Centre Manager you will manage the pipeline of industry collaborative projects as they are secured and completed within the laboratory.

You will be required to design laboratory methodologies to address key industry challenges and to supervise staff in the completion of these projects. You will be responsible for intellectual property filings and for maintaining a culture of safety in the laboratories and scale-up facilities.
